Special Highlights

First of its kind suicide remembrance memorial and dove release in memory of those in the community that we have lost to suicide.

Offered  mental health in-services to businesses and communities during the height of pandemic at no cost.

Volunteered our time with the Lakes Area Community Coalition, working with the Youth Action Board to address post pandemic return to school and youth mental health. 

Provided support and programming to Oakland Early College as they faced difficulty transitioning back to school post pandemic.

Created supportive programming for both the Greater  Bloomfield community coalition and the Lakes Area Community Coalition to help parents in the community support their children during quarantine and with return to in-person school.

Immediately responded to the Oxford High School tragedy, traveling to the Legacy Center with a team of 6 therapists and psychologists to provide, free of charge:

  1. Therapeutic support with individual, families, and groups of students
  2. Hosted several psychologist curated therapeutic activities to engage the community (particularly aimed at those that didn’t feel comfortable speaking with a therapist one on one). 
  3. Donated 400+ Words of Hope 4 Life shirts to the high school students and guided them in a collective grief processing project. 
  4. Donated 500+ galaxy bottles and led the kids of Oxford through the experiment of creating their own galaxy bottle and mindfulness practice.
  5. Provided ongoing professional consult to the community groups tasked with creating a supportive and healing environment for the community of Oxford post tragedy.
  6. Served as a community liaison, connecting volunteers and local therapy dog  programs to the Oxford Community, making it possible to amplify our supportive impact.
  7. Provided on-site therapeutic support via psychologists and therapy dogs for the Oxford community during the community healing event held at the Legacy Center in Oxford.

Self funded the opening of “the rail”, a brick and mortar space dedicated to being a supportive community connecting point, resource center and provider of therapeutic support to  the Walled Lake Consolidated School District.

Collaborated with the Lakes Area Community Coalition to create supportive groups and programs specifically designed for teachers, administrations students.
